During VBS we need help each evening in a variety of ways. You can help one evening or all evenings. Please see below for some of the many ways to help us make this a fabulous VBS for the kids.
Here is a brief description of some of the roles:
Crew Leader - in charge of 5 to 7 kids, leading them to each station
Crew Assistant - help the Team Leader with the kids
Station Helper - Help a Station leader in Bible, Crafts, or Games
Drama - learn and preform a short skit during opening and closing
Worship - learn hand motions to songs and perform during opening and closing (songs will be sung/played by others)
Check-in- help sign the kids in when they arrive and direcvt to their crew
Check-out - help make sure they get to the correct parent when they leave and take home any crafts
We need lots of help before VBS starts! Please see below for some of the many ways to help us prepare before the first kid arrives.
We love to have meals for the volunteers that help during VBS each night. Many come straight from work. Meals shall be fore 30 to 35 people. We would like to have at least 2 people to help provide emails for each day. You and a friend can sign up for the same day, or we will put you in touch with another person who signed up for the same day.
A CCRP Kids Ministry T-shirt should be worn by all volunteers who are helping during VBS. The church will provide you with this shirt, if you do not already have one.
